Help, I’ve been scammed by an Invention Promoter!

Posted in General Commentary by Jake Ward on July 3, 2007

The recent CAFC opinion of Bender v. Dudas reminded us of this post on invention promotion firms we’d read last year at The Invent Blog.  The posted commentary provided some excellent advice on what to do when a relationship with an invention promotion firm goes sour (as, unfortunately, is so often the case).  Worth a quick read if you have a few spare minutes.

The USPTO also provides information and feedback relating to invention promoters.  The USPTO public forum for invention promoter complaints and responses may be found here.  Also worth a quick read if you have a particular invention promotion firm you are dealing with.
