PATENTLY GOOD IDEAS: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND BUSINESS

The Small Business Development Center at Kent State Tuscarawas will host a program on intellectual property protection, covering inventions, patents, trademarks and copyrights on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  The seminar will be held at the Tolloty Technology Incubator, 1776 Tech Park Drive NE, New Philadelphia OH 44663.

Every business has intellectual property (IP), in one form or another. Protecting IP is important, but it can also be expensive. With startups especially, every dollar matters. Therefore, deciding whether and how to spend funds on IP protection is a key question that should be answered in the early stages of every new business.

Jacob M. Ward, Registered Patent Attorney and founding member of Ward Law Office LLC, will present the seminar.

More details about the program and a registration form may be found here.
